Our mission is to be a light in our community by providing support, encouragement, and practical assistance to the homeless, underserved populations, and anyone in need of a helping hand. From sharing meals and essential items to creating meaningful connections, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day and restore hope.

WHO IS OUR FOUNDER?
Srey Kong Michael is a Cambodian former model, entrepreneur, and philanthropist known for founding the nonprofit organization A Piece of Sunshine.
Her mission was inspired by her mother’s experiences surviving child labor at the age of 9 sex trafficking by the hands of her parents at the age of 13 in Cambodia. Srey created the nonprofit to help create awareness about human trafficking, feed the homelessness, and support vulnerable communities. Srey understands how mental health is connected And how love heals.
Srey believes in spreading awareness on multiple platforms, showing compassion and love with her volunteers.

Siray Kong is a dynamic entrepreneur, philanthropist, and advocate for social justice. Born in Cambodia, Siray’s journey to the United States was marked by resilience and determination. With the support of a Christian mission, she embarked on a new chapter in her life, driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact in the world.
Before establishing herself as a prominent figure in the charity sector, Siray pursued a successful career as a model and entrepreneur, establishing her own fashion brand, Ounsiray. Inspired by her mother’s courage as a victim of sex trafficking, Siray founded Piece of Sunshine, a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering survivors of sex trafficking.
Through her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment, Siray has transformed the lives of countless individuals, providing them with hope, healing, and a brighter future. Her remarkable journey serves as a testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and the unwavering belief in the possibility of creating positive change in the world.
